A few important things to know before completing your skip bin booking.
7-Day Hire Included
Standard hire includes up to 7 days. If you need the bin for longer, additional hire is charged at $10 per extra day.
Delivery Areas
Online pricing and availability are based on your delivery postcode. Enter your postcode above to see the correct available pricing for your area.
Waste Type Matters
Please choose the correct waste type for your booking. Incorrect or restricted waste may result in additional charges after collection.
Optional Extras
Tyres, mattresses, TVs and computer monitors can be added during booking where applicable. Simply select the quantity you need before adding the bin to your order.
Weight Limits
Some larger skip bins include a specified weight allowance. If the final disposal weight exceeds the included allowance, additional charges may apply after collection.

Skip Bin Do’s, Don’ts & Important Conditions
Everything you need to know before filling your skip bin, including what can go in, what requires extra charges, and the key conditions that apply to your booking.
Do Not Overfill
Bins must not exceed the brim (water level full).
Mattresses Must Fit
Mattresses must fit fully inside the bin and not exceed the brim.
Property Placement
Bins should be placed on your property unless you have arranged a permit.
Collection Timing
We aim to collect on the selected date, or the next business day if delayed.
Suitable For General Rubbish
The following items can generally be included in general rubbish skip bins:
- White goods
- Furniture
- Timber
- Metal
- Plastic
- Clothing
- Toys
- Carpet
- Green waste
- Electrical appliances
Strictly Prohibited
The following materials must not be placed in the bin under any circumstance:
- Asbestos
- Paints
- Flammable liquids
Additional Charges Apply
The following items and services are not included in the standard price and attract additional charges:
- Bed mattresses
- Gas cylinders
- Tyres
- Glass
Additional item charges can be selected during the booking process where applicable.
Important Conditions
- If a bin is overfilled, the driver may remove excess material before collection or leave the bin until it has been levelled.
- Mattresses must fit fully inside the skip bin and must not exceed the brim.
- Bins placed on your driveway or past your property boundary are at your own risk and responsibility if damage occurs.
- Skip bins must remain on private property unless an appropriate council permit has been arranged and supplied to Mr Cleanup.
